How it started…

As a kid, I did not travel much except for our yearly family vacation. In fact, I took my first international flight when I was 26. The earliest memory of wanting to travel is while binge-watching travel shows when kids of my age used to enjoy cartoons. I used to wonder how I would feel in a place where I have never been to before, how different or the same people of those places will be. Back to the present, I stayed in multiple cities thanks to my consulting job. I always find myself traveling to nearby places whenever I am in a new city. This is how my childhood curiosity became a full-fledged love affair with traveling.

The difficulties…

Traveling comes with its own sets of challenges. I often struggle to balance a fulltime job and finances to keep traveling. Though the idea of being a digital nomad or hitchhiking around the world entices me now and then, I must admit I am guilty of enjoying the stability of having a home, spending time with my loved ones. And, I love my job too. It pays for my travel expenses. Over the years I learned how to manage a fulltime job, time, and money to travel more. And by the time I hit 30, I realized I have no real hobby other than traveling or planning about my next travel.
